All hostages are kept in the auditorium. They were not given any food or water. The orchestra pit is used as a lavatory. A powerful bomb is laid right in the center of the auditorium, the stage and the aisles are mined". Approximately 15 armed people, men and women, wrapped themselves in explosives and are in constant attendance in the auditorium. They are watching all aisles, gridirons and the basement ready to react in case of the attack. The nerves of all hostages and terrorists are on the strain. Any attempt of the attack will lead to a powerful explosion. The hostages appeal to everybody pleading to inform your friends and acquaintances – officers of any level at FSB, MVD and the Moscow Government – that any forceful measures are not admissible! Please agree to compromise in the negotiations, but under no conditions please do not attempt to attack the building!"
